We have primarily a fix-and-flip business but a brief history is in order. Jamell and I began flipping houses in May 2010. In our first 23 months together, we flipped 5 houses on Long Island and purchased 56 apartments in 5 buildings over 4 individual purchases. In April 2012, we decided to focus on buying fix-and-flips on Long Island and set a goal of 50 deals by the end of 2013. That would have been a 1,200% annualized growth rate. Lofty, but we purchased 39 houses at that time. In the past 2 years, we have flipped just under 30 houses annually and generated about $1,000,000 in revenue plus I have been the lender and received a similar amount in interest.
