The year I moved to Dallas was 1998. I grew up in East Texas and at the age of twenty-five I accepted a job in corporate America. A couple of years after moving to Dallas, I met my wife Shelley and we married in June of 2002. Seven years later our daughter MaryKate was born and three years after that our son Hayden arrived.
In 2017, after working for the same company for nineteen years, I wanted more for my life and my family. I realized that people do die before they retire and never have the opportunity to live the life they envision for themselves. The housing crash in 2008 had caught my
attention and in 2011 I bought my first rental property. In 2015, I purchased my second rental property and realized that I would never reach my goals if I could only buy one house every few years. Two years after purchasing my second rental, I decided that I wanted to wholesale, fix and flip and grow my rental portfolio. In 2018, I completed one major flip, one wholesale deal, one one wholetail, and one assignment.
